Last year, I wrote an article on my 5 favorite YouTube Channels. Since I am just as much of a prolific blog reader as a vlog watcher, it follows that I write about the 5 awesome blogs you must follow in 2021. Personally, I am currently following almost a thousand blogs. Needless to say, it was difficult to choose just five from a list of nearly a thousand. I tried to choose blogs with different niches. Most importantly, I chose the blogs that are memorable in some way, whether for the excellent writing style, the ability to tell a good story, or the ability to provide some kind of value to me. In other words, if it can teach or entertain me, then it has most likely won me over and I am likely to come back to read the blog in its entirety.
5 Awesome Blogs You Must Follow in 2021
Michelle’s Clutter Box — michellescluttersbox.com
This is a blog that I discovered sometime in the fall of 2020. This is a personal blog written from the point of view of a woman from South Africa. What I most enjoy about her blog is her ability to create posts that are on-point with a dash of sardonic humor. I never fail to have a chuckle whenever I read one of her blog articles. Check out one of her recent posts about how she accidently Pavlov’d herself or her experience watching TV with her dad.
Mind. Beauty. Simplicity. — mindbeautysimplicity.wordpress.com
This is another great find from the year 2020, shortly after I started blogging again during the middle of a pandemic. This blog focuses on one woman’s journey as a minimalist. She gives insight and tips on minimalism and decluttering, as well as living with purpose and intention. She writes with simplicity about a topic that not everyone fully understands. She makes the minimalism lifestyle sound very attractive and appealing. Read this post to learn how to simplify your life in 2021.
Jack Bamford — jackbamford.com
This is a blog about financial literacy. If you have been reading some of my blog posts from the past few months, you would know about my interest in having financial freedom. Jack writes with simplicity about a topic that very few people understand holistically. I found this post about 5 ways to save money particularly instructive.
Olivia Lucia Blake — olivialucieblake.com
I find this blog to be not only instructive but inspirational. This is one very good example of what I feel a good lifestyle blog is. This blog gave me the inspiration and courage to create a media kit for my blog. It has also given me tips and tricks on how to create a good blog post that converts. I particularly enjoyed reading the 7 signs you’re addicted to blogging, and for the record, I’ve checked off 6 of the 7 signs.
Bill’s Writing Place — billswritingplace.wordpress.com
This is another recent find. What I love most about this blog is the writer’s innate ability to create a story that is amusing. I particularly liked this story about the missing number 8. I liked reading about the writer’s Christmas 2020 experience and his weekly recaps.
These are the 5 awesome blogs you must follow in 2021. I chose blogs that I not only enjoy reading, but think that others would benefit from reading them as well. Of course, this list is not exclusive. I will probably do a part two some time in the future.
