Feelings Given to Me

  1. Which character would you love to have as your roommate? Please provide the name of the book.

I would love to have Hermione Granger, from the Harry Potter series, as my roommate especially if I was still in school. Truthfully, I would want more of her study habits to rub off on me.

2. A book that made you want to travel.

When I was sixteen, I read the book Around the World in 80 Days, by Jules Verne. After reading this book, I wanted to do just what the protagonist did — to visit as many countries as possible in a specific amount of time. I thought it would really interesting to see as much of the world as I can.

3. Name a book that made you feel happy.

There are so many. But one book that made me feel particularly happy was Harry Potter and the Cursed Child simply because it was the continuing story of Harry Potter. After nearly ten years, we were finally getting the chance to see what would have become of Harry Potter and his friends.

4. Which book would you recommend everyone reads at least once?

Anyone who knows me in real life ought to know my answer to this. I recommend The Diary of a Young Girl, by Anne Frank, today, tomorrow, and everyday. This is my favorite book and one of the only non-fiction books that I can read again and again without getting bored. This is the only book that has been a source of comfort and companion to me in the darkest of times, because of the beacon of hope that Anne Frank brings to everyone who reads this.

5. If there is a movie or TV adaption of a book, or a book series, do you prefer to read the book, or watch the movie/TV show first? And why?

Whenever there is a choice between reading the book or watching the movie, I always choose the book. The book is always better. It has much more information that the movie doesn’t have. Sometimes I am often disappointed after watching the movie version because it doesn’t fill my expectations. After watching the movie, I am left wanting more. I am constantly comparing the movie with the book, always finding one to be lacking in detail and even character development.

Feelings Given To You

  1. What was the last book that you read? What did you like the most about it?
  2. Is there a book that you regret having read? Why or why not?
  3. If you could write a fan fiction based on any piece of literature, what would you write?
  4. If you had the opportunity to spend the day with any character from any book, which character would you choose and why?
  5. Name a book that is on your to-be-read list and why did you add it to the list?

    1. Yes 😦 It was so awful and yet that was the reality for most Jews during that time. But the important thing isn’t what happens in the end, but the ability to have hope even during the darkest, worst times
